This is exhaust system on DIDT 323 BJ like on this picture:

Does it mean that it has two Catalyst converters? And if I take off first one what effect ( except ecology) will it have on engine??? Thanx. BTW intake was clean , flow meter I did take wires off and in a second when I started engine 'check engine' lamp went on and when I put wire on flow meter again 'check engine lamp' went off. Does it mean that flow meter is fine? Since in driving there was no difference if it was off or on. Thanx.

You can see those 2 catalysts on the picture. The first and smaller positioned vertically is seen almost on the top of the picture, it's under the turbo and you have to dismantle the turbo to get to the catalyst. The second bigger one positioned horizontally is marked as 20-500A, it's under the floor.
As far as I know removing the first one should bring you a few PS, but not more.
Here is something about the MAF sensor (flow meter):

I took out catalyst ( first and smaller one) and car took off like plain...the only thing left to work on now is P0403 error...EGR is fine and clean, Flow meter also, so it leaves me with solenoid valve, but which one is resposnsible??? And how to clean it if it can be cleaned at all? Thanx to all of you.

@zbit I checked it out, but google can't translate all of it accurately,so I 'm bit confused...
Should I take off all solenoid valves and then spray them with wd40? i order to get the water out? is his safe thing, meaning i can not demage solenoid valve with this? also shoud I spray wd40 through vacum holes ( that rubber vaccum pipes are conected to)? Regards.... and thanx.

in that topic frud said: "turn on the engine and check if there is a suction on a pipe 20-361A (controlling EGR), remove pipe from EGR and put your finger to check if there is a suction. You should feel that it is sucking"
then frud has written: "check why there is no vacuum- maybe the pipe is broken, maybe one of solenoid valves doesn't make it? if the pipes are ok, check these valves 18-741C, 18-741A and 18-740A.
Before you dismount the air filter's case, remove one rubber pipe from it and check if there is vacuum there. There is a a little vacuum room in this case.
Pull off the sockets, dismount valves (they are in rough place, do it with care, because they are easy to broke, I have dismounted air filter's cover and one pipe). I sprayed those valves with compressed air and wd40 or something similiar that you can use to clean electronic parts, in every hole I just found. When I was dismounting valves, there was water in electric socket. I don't know from where it came, but I dried it.
It seems that some junk or humidity was the cause of problem. When I mounted it all back, everything was ok.
How to check if EGR valve is working? -pipe in mouth and suck! If EGR Goes up then it's working and the whole problem was because the lack of vacuum".
BubaJez, does your car make a smoke?

THANX a lot! Now I have tried EGR 'mouth control' and it is working. My car is smoking only when po403 is ON. And it smokes only in idle whem pushed over 2000rpm white smoke for a second or two, I don't know if it showes when I push pedal or when I remove foot and it decreases acceleration. It also did smoke much more before I repaired turbo. Once again thak you.
