ProLiant DL380P with 12 Core 2.7GHz Xeon – Performance and Upgrade Tips?

Hi all,

I’m planning to get a ProLiant DL380P server https://serverorbit.com/pc-and-servers/proliant-dl380p/12-core-2-7ghz-xeon with a 12 Core 2.7GHz Xeon processor and was wondering about its performance for virtualization and heavy computing tasks. Has anyone used this model, and how does it handle multiple VMs?

Also, would upgrading RAM or adding SSDs provide a significant boost? Any compatibility issues to watch out for?
