Helow,
in our mx-3 club we have a mx-3 1.6 turbo project (GTX). Now main problems are with stock ecu... Do anybody know what to do with it?

Throw away ecu. Install megasquirt :)

The fuel mixture too rich and too lean, depends on RPM's

You can use FMU at this moment, and correct AFR with some kind of piggy-back. But, the best way for you will be...

Did you change the injectors or the pressure on the fuel rail if yes it is normal problem there are 3 ways to resolve your problem
1. remapping orginal ecu
2.piggyback
3. stand alone like mentioned by Fiveopac megasquirt
Bets regards

Injectors are GTX
Fuel pomp stock mx-3 (1,6 dohc)

About remapping stock ecu... Do you have that binnary file? :) (like i did with my klze)

So you have stock ecu from ? GTX or from mx-3 (from what engine you have ecu)
I,m afraid that is not so simple like with the kl engine you if you want to remapp yor ecu you will have to do it yourself by chnaging the code of this ecu (or find someone who is able to do this and have hardware to do this)
Beszt regards

I suggest you use piggyback. We have a really nice Polish product (PC software is in english) called ECUMASTER. This has been used in few mazdas in Poland and i have some experience with it in my 1.8 dohc N/A engine and 1.8 GTX turbo engine.

If you want to use stock ecu you have to extend injectors opening time accordingly to boost pressure. To do this you need signal from map sensor. To fine tune it you can use wideband oxygen sensor. Most affordable kit i know is LC-1 Innovate wideband kit (approx 199$) . ECUMASTER is approx 150$.

Do not play with remaping stock B6 ECU, I'm afraid it is only wasting your time. First, upgrade your fuel pump, stock B6 pump is not good choice for GTX engine with GTX fuel system. Use most popular, Walbro 190 lph/255 lph. Electronic – cheaper way is piggy-back with stock ECU, more expensive, but rather the best – standalone ECU, for example: megasquirt.

Or you can start with an FMU 12:1 ;)
