It looks very good in this colour... And the Rimms... Great! Regarding this engine swap – what is the actual power of the engine, acceleration and maximum speed? Because this swap thing is very rare and I would like to know as much as possible. If You can also tell something about the totall cost of this swap i will be very thankfull. Also please attach pictures of interior of the car – I see You have changed something inside also...

First off all thank you!

Actual Power of the engine is 200 HP (not tested on dyno). I expect about 175 – 180 PS on the Wheels !
I used the K8 Transmission because of the short gears ! I love the acceleration !

I also used a reinforced SACHS clutch (which exists you need to order it from SACHS directly)

Maximum Speed is currently 180 KM/H because I'm using the KL31 ECU from Japan which is Speed limited.
I need about 12-14l / 100km which is fine for me !

I used the VAF (JE50) from the MX-3 !
Disabled EGR
And i had to reuse the rear header for the exhaust to fit !

My KL-ZE came of a 95 Eunos 800 which also had a HIGH AMP volt sourec (i dont know the word for it). Because of my Audio System i reused it !
I had to include a new wire but thats all

all other things were bolt on

The swap works straight forward, if you have a PRE-94 MX-3 !
A Face-Lift MX-3 is harder to acomplish !

Oh Yeah, congratulations!! I see this topic first time. Great MX-3!! Do You have a pictures od Your engine ? You put KL-ZE with original K8 Intake manifold or other

What is Your Time on 400 meteres or acceleration 0-100 km/h

I put in the KL-ZE with the Eunos 800 Manifold !
I´m using the KL36 ECU !

Did not get the chance yet to drive quater mile.

0-100 ist not so great because of the spinning whlles until the 3rd gear *harhar*

The same like my 323F

I used KF 2.0 V6 KF 77 ECU but in quick time I want buy a KL-ZE KL 31 ECU.

What is a year of Your MX-3

What type of Distributor do You have

If You have pictures of Yout engine give it quickly

hmm, the engine is out of order right now, i´m switching to a KL-DE to pass the TUV control to legalize it ! My mx-3 is a 92 and i used the K8 distributor !

Witam.
Kilka dni temu miałem okazję oglądnąć MX-3 w komisie w Lublinie. Samochód bardzo mnie zainteresował – rocznik 1996, zadbany, 103000km przebiegu, w wyposażeniu klima i to wszystko za 8000zł. Zaniepokoiły mnie jedynie dwie rzeczy:

1. Dźwięk silnika – po rozgrzaniu na jałowych obrotach ładnie cykał, ale przy dodawaniu gazu kulturę pracy miał jak diesel. Czy to normalne?
2. Zużycie wnętrza – kierownica (skórzana) była już nieco wytarta, podobnie pedały. Czy przy takim przebiegu (przypomnę – 103kkm) byłyby już takie oznaki zużycia? Samochód miał niby książkę serwisową, ale powszechnie wiadomo jak to nieraz z tym bywa...

kolego jest nie realne żeby auto które ma 12 lat miało oryginalny taki przebieg, nie jest to fiat panda od starego dziadka który jeździł tylko do kościoła tylko auto które zachęca do jazdy. ślady zużycia przy takim przebiegu jeśli jest oryginalny powinny być symboliczne.

tez ogladalem ten samochod jakis tydzien temu

i radze zebys sobie odpuscil bo po pierwsze masz racje z tym dzwiekiem silnika-gosc z komisu odpalili go przy mnie po 2dniowym postoju(wtedy akurat byly mrozy) i jak odpalil to silnik pracowal jak dieselek pozniej sie rozgrzal i taki pomruk byl tylko przy dodawaniu gazu.Dodatkowo auto bylo walone w przod i brakowalo kilku szczegolow w srodku(lewa szyba i lusterko nie dziala,silowniki od bagaznika nie trzymaly,brak kilka plastikow w srodku).NIE POLECAM chociaz nawet ladnie sie prezentowal
